There is now overwhelming evidence that lifestyle factors such as poor dietary patterns, physical inactivity, tobacco use, excessive alcohol consumption and other factors such as chronic stress and lack of social/community support are key factors in the mortality rates and prevalence of chronic diseases

Smoking Cessation & Stress Reduction

Smoking is the leading preventable cause of death worldwide, and quitting smoking significantly reduces the risk of dying from tobacco-related diseases such as heart disease and lung cancer

Blood & Pathology Testing

Blood testing helps evaluate how well your organs (such as the liver, kidneys, thyroid and heart) are working, diagnose conditions such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, anemia, and coronary heart disease

Diagnostic Testing

A diagnostic test is any approach used to gather clinical information for the purpose of making a diagnosis. Some examples include X-rays, biopsies, CT scans, etc.

Preoperative Evaluation

The purpose of a preoperative evaluation is not to “clear” patients for elective surgery, but rather to evaluate and, if necessary, implement measures to prepare higher risk patients for surgery. Preoperative medical evaluation can decrease the length of hospital stay as well as minimize postponed or cancelled surgeries
